The first step: "determine the plan"
Commonly used wood grain brick paving method, in addition to the traditional ceramic wall tiles, the well-shaped shape of the well-formed, horizontal and vertical paving method, wood-grained bricks also have herringbone, I-shaped, oblique diamond line and other paving methods. The way of paving can be described as diverse and varied. So be sure to work with the designer to determine the solution.
The second step: "leveling"
The so-called leveling, in the immediate application of wood grain bricks, should be treated on the floor or wall surface of the paved building. Such as the ground, interior walls, exterior walls, etc. Eliminate the attachment of the surface and pour it with a mixture of semi-wet cement sand.
The third step: "elastic line"
The elastic line means that a long thin line is used, painted with white ash ink, the central axis of the brick is determined, and then laid according to the line.
The fourth step: "choose bricks"
It is necessary to look at the types of bricks that are planned to be laid out. For example, paving wood grain bricks, wood grain bricks on the upper wall, wood grain bricks on the floor line, etc. should be distinguished so as not to be confused.
Step 5: "Dip brick"
Wood grain bricks should be soaked in water like polished tiles and antique bricks. Use tap water or clean water. Do not use water or dirty water, or use oily sewage. The soaking time does not take too long, that is, it can be soaked. . (The tiles must be soaked in order to be laid)
Step 6: "Mixed"
Cement sand should be mixed in a ratio of 1:2. Cement with a label of less than 200 should be used. Cement with too high a mark should have a tensile force on the wood grain brick, and severely crack the wood grain brick.
Step 7: "Slurry"
Remove the soaked wood grain bricks, dry the water stains of the wood grain bricks, and evenly spread the cement slurry on the back of the wood grain bricks. The thickness of the mortar is 2-3 cm, and then the wood grain bricks are laid on the surface of the cement sand. Gently tap the wood grain brick surface with a wooden hammer until it is flat and straight.
Step 8: "Pave"
Paving should pay attention to the order of wood grain bricks. Pay attention to the arrow marks on the bottom of the wood grain bricks. The wooden hammer should be knocked to avoid empty knocking. The strength should be balanced and the force should be avoided to be too big or too small. It is best to use a plastic cross for paving bricks to better position the wood grain bricks. The wooden hammer hits the wood grain brick and the anti-overflowing cement slurry can be smoothed with a sponge or a rag. High-grade wood-grained bricks generally have a gap of less than 1 mm and do not require special caulking.
Step 9: "Finishing"
The wood grain bricks are paved and the cement is not completely dry. It can be observed with the naked eye or with a level gauge. The wood grain bricks are trimmed according to the standard. Check the flatness of the brick paving, the straightness of the brick seam, and so on. Found the problem, immediately trimmed, severely opened the wood grain bricks and re-paved.
Step 10: Filling
If the joint is to be filled, the cement is dried and then hooked with iron hooks, and then filled with caulking with color.
