Bintan Alumina Indonesia has implemented capital expenditures of US$150 million for the construction of the Bintan Alumina processing and smelting plant in Riau province. Most of the capital will be acquired land acquisition, coastal development and construction of the pier program.
Zulnahar Usman, general manager of Indonesian bintan clay company, said that at the beginning of this year, the company was actively constructing piers. "The physical construction of the pier has already begun. We hope to complete it in six months," he said.
It is understood that Bintan Alumina and Nanshan Aluminium have established an upstream and downstream integrated aluminum industrial zone and invested 6 billion U.S. dollars. In the initial stage, the two companies will build a 2.1 million-tonne bauxite smelter with an investment of US$1 billion.
The company covers an area of 2,700 hectares, including a pier and a steam power station with a 3×110 trillion shield. So far, Bintan Alumina has requisitioned a total of 2000 hectares of land. The rest will be purchased in the near future.
He said that the construction of the Bauxite smelter has not yet commenced construction because it is still focused on the completion of the terminal construction project in order to speed up the transportation of machinery needed for the plant. "A few days ago, the above-mentioned smeltery project was about 10% to 15%. We hope that the smelter construction project will be completed next year," he said.
Nanshan holds a 99% stake in the smelter. He said that although Chinese investors control the shares of the downstream industry, Bintan Alumina holds the largest stake in the Sika and Bintan minerals.
In the future, two mining companies will provide 5 million tons to 6 million tons of smelters to Bindan. "Once our plant is operational, we will try to increase our shareholding so that we can supply the Indonesian company Inalum with alumina.
Screen spline is a vital component in the construction and maintenance of window screens and screen doors. It serves the crucial purpose of securing the screen material firmly in place within the frame, ensuring a tight and durable fit. Made from flexible materials such as rubber or vinyl, screen spline is designed to be inserted into a groove or channel along the edges of the frame, holding the screen securely and preventing it from sagging or coming loose.
The primary function of screen spline is to create a tight seal between the screen material and the frame, effectively keeping out insects, bugs, and debris while allowing fresh air to flow through. By securely holding the screen material in place, it prevents gaps or openings that could compromise the effectiveness of the screen in providing protection and ventilation.
Screen spline also plays a crucial role in maintaining the structural integrity of the screen. It helps distribute tension evenly across the screen material, preventing it from stretching or warping over time. This ensures that the screen remains taut and free from wrinkles or sagging, enhancing its appearance and functionality.
In addition to its practical purposes, screen spline also offers versatility in terms of design and customization. It is available in various sizes and materials to accommodate different screen thicknesses and frame types. This allows for flexibility in choosing the appropriate spline for specific applications, ensuring a secure and snug fit.
Whether for residential or commercial use, screen spline is an essential component in the construction and maintenance of window screens and screen doors. Its purpose of securely holding the screen material in place, providing protection against insects and debris, and maintaining the structural integrity of the screen makes it an indispensable part of any screen installation. With its functionality and versatility, screen spline ensures that windows and screen doors can effectively fulfill their intended purpose of providing ventilation, protection, and comfort.
