Mitsubishi Materials will launch cutting tools for China in September

Mitsubishi Materials Co., Ltd. will launch cutting tools for China in September, and will produce end mills in China, with a planned monthly production of 8,500 shanks. The current practice is to produce semi-finished products in subsidiaries in China, and to produce final products in Japan, which is expected to lower prices after supporting production. Although the demand for cutting tools in the automotive-related field is increasing, but the price competition with local companies is fierce, the response has been launched. The end mills for China are AS series, which have the same quality and cutting function based on the existing MS series, and the price is low. It plans to launch 57 products in 7 varieties. The price is set at a level that can compete with Korean and Taiwanese rivals. Mitsubishi Materials has established a Tianjin subsidiary in Tianjin, China, which is engaged in the design and production of cutting tools, Tianjin Tianling Carbide Tools. In addition to the face milling cutter, tools such as blades and drill bits before coating are produced and processed and sold in Japan. In the future, it will be adjusted to implement supporting production in Tianjin Tianling.
