On August 26th, the Japan Machine Tool Industry Association (JMTBA) announced the accurate statistics of the machine tool orders of its member units in July 2009. Data show that in July 2009, Japan's total machine tool orders were 34.346 billion yen, a slight decrease of 1.8% from June and a 72.3% decrease from the same period in 2008. The decline was slightly narrowed. Among them, orders for CNC machine tools were 32.813 billion yen, down 1.2% from the previous month and down 72.8% from the same period last year. From January to July 2009, the cumulative order volume of Japanese machine tools was 1,824.55 billion yen, a decrease of 79.9% from the same period in 2008. The cumulative order value of CNC machine tools was 173.04 billion yuan, down 80.2% year-on-year.

In July, domestic orders in Japan were 14.429 billion yen, a slight decrease of 0.2%% from April and a year-on-year decrease of 72.6%, which has been lower than the same period of the previous year for 18 consecutive months. In the same period, overseas orders amounted to 19.917 billion yen, down 2.9% from the previous month and down 72% year-on-year. From January to July, domestic orders accumulated 78.619 billion yen, down 80.3% year-on-year. Overseas orders accumulated 103.836 billion yen, down 79.5% year-on-year. In the first six months of 2009, orders for Japanese machine tools have gradually picked up, but the overall contraction has been severe, with orders less than one-fifth of the same period in 2008. Although the order for July has dropped slightly, the overall warming trend should remain unchanged.

1. Seeing from various domestic industries
In terms of domestic demand in Japan, orders for machinery manufacturing reached 13.192 billion yen, accounting for 38.4% of total orders, and orders were up 2.3% from the previous month and down 71% year-on-year. Among them, the orders for general machinery manufacturing were 6.012 billion yen, down 14.5% from the previous month, down 72.9% year-on-year; while the other machine tool demander, the auto industry, saw a significant increase in orders this month, with orders reaching 4.315 billion yen. The growth rate was 45.1%, which was still down 73% year-on-year, but the decline was narrowed. Orders from electrical machinery were the largest in the month, up 64.2% to 1.586 billion yen, down 45% year-on-year. Orders for precision machinery were 678 million yen, down 10.2% from the previous month and down 59.4% from the same period last year. In July, the transportation machinery industry, such as aircraft and ships, had an order volume of 601 million yen, a quarter-on-quarter of 48.7%, down 78.5% year-on-year.

In addition, orders from the metal products industry amounted to 301 million yen, a slight increase of 2.7% from the previous quarter and a decrease of 77% from the same period last year. Orders from trading companies and agents were 107 million yen, down 35.9% from the previous month and down 72.3% from the same period last year. Government and school orders were 155 million yen, up 22% from the previous month.

In July 2009, Japanese machine tool sales were 37.026 billion yen, a slight decrease of 1.3% from the previous month and a decrease of 70.3% year-on-year. Among them, sales of CNC machine tools were 35.724 billion yen, down 70.4% year-on-year. The machine tool order balance was 369.541 billion yen, down 51.6% year-on-year.

2. From the perspective of foreign countries and regions
In July, in terms of overseas demand for Japanese machine tools, orders were ranked according to order demand: China surpassed the US to rank first with 4.366 billion yen, but decreased by 21.8% from the previous month, down 61.2% year-on-year, accounting for 21.9% of total overseas orders; It was the second with 3.822 billion yuan, down 42.4% from the previous month, down 73.8% year-on-year, accounting for 19.2% of the total overseas orders; South Korea was the third with 1.908 billion yen, up 40.7% from the previous month, down 60.6% year-on-year, accounting for the total overseas orders. 9.6% of Germany; Germany ranked fourth with 1.04 billion yen, down 25.2% from the previous month and down 87.3% from the same period last year. Thailand ranked fifth with 829 million yen, down 1% from the previous month and down 86.9% from the same period last year. In addition, orders in the EU region were 5.332 billion yen, up 61.5% from the previous month and accounting for 26.8% of total overseas orders.

From January to July, the largest demand for orders was in the United States, with an order volume of 30.639 billion yen, down 73.9% year-on-year, accounting for 29.5% of the total overseas orders totaling 103.836 billion yen; followed by China's 28.311 billion yen, down 67.2% year-on-year. It accounted for 27.3% of the total overseas orders; the third was Germany's 7.534 billion yen, down 87.2% year-on-year, accounting for 7.3% of the total overseas orders.

Asia is the continent with the largest demand for machine tools in Japan. The order volume in July was 9.04 billion yen, down 6.2% from the previous month and down 70.4% from the previous year. The second is Europe. The order in July was 56.28 yen, up 70.9% from the previous month. The year-on-year decrease was 74.3%, and the third was North America. The order value was 4.163 billion yen, a decrease of 42.6% from the previous month and a decrease of 73.8% from the same period last year.

Microscope Cover

The cover glass is covered on the material on the glass slide, which can avoid the contact between the liquid and the objective lens, so as not to contaminate the lens, and can make the top of the observed cells in the same plane, that is, the distance from the objective lens is the same, so that the observed Images are clearer.Why do you need a coverslip when using a microscope

1. Make the object to be observed form a thin film, which is easy to transmit light and easy to observe;
2. Make the specimen relatively fixed;
3. It is convenient to use the capillary phenomenon to form a gradient when adding various reagents (staining agent, acid, salt solution);
4. Avoid contamination of the specimen.

The purpose of staining the specimen with iodine solution is to make the cells more obvious under the microscope, and it can also kill the cells and prevent the cells from migrating.
