Global energy industry rankings released PetroChina ranks fourth

U.S. energy information company Pratt has released the global energy industry rankings on the 2nd, and China National Petroleum ranks fourth, followed by the United States, ExxonMobil, Chevron and the Russian oil and gas company. This is also the first time that Asian energy companies have ranked among the top five.

Prazier is a subsidiary of McGraw-Hill Publishing Company of the United States. It was published in Singapore on the "Top 250 Energy Companies in the World" list based on S&P Capital IQ's database. The rankings were mainly determined by the company last year. Assets, income, profits, and return on capital.

The report said that PetroChina’s assets were about 52 billion U.S. dollars a decade ago, and its assets have now increased to 255 billion U.S. dollars, and its annual revenue has grown 7.5 times in ten years.

Total Petroleum of France occupied the fifth place in the rankings. Sinopec ranked eighth. However, the top five Brazilian oil companies and BP, which was plagued by the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, fell out of the top five this year. BP ranks only 118th.

Larry Neil, president of Pratt, said that the Asia-Pacific energy market has grown rapidly over the past decade, driving the ranking of companies in this region to rise, and some energy companies have begun to internationalize.

Pradesh’s executive in Asia, Wanda Hari, said that Asia’s energy industry has grown at a rapid rate, and many private companies in the power industry have been on the list, leaving a lasting impression.

Of the top 250 global energy rankings, there are 70 in the Asia Pacific region, of which 18 are in Japan and 13 in China and India. Listed companies with assets exceeding $3.5 billion will enter the screening list.
