The NX Open for.NET, a secondary development toolkit provided by UGNX, developed a standard parts library management system. The system integrates with UGNX software to provide designers with a unified interface to guide users in the form of design wizards. The user only needs to select the standard part type and setting parameters on the interface to generate the corresponding model.
The system consists of three modules. Standard Component Expansion Module: For system administrators. Using this system, administrators can create new standard part types in the standard parts library, generate standard part models through interaction and establish PartFamily, and automatically generate XML files (krx files) that describe the main specifications.
Key technologies: 1 Standard parts classification storage and representation This paper establishes a folder according to the classification relationship of standard parts, and forms a classification tree according to the directory membership of the folder. This avoids more complex database relationship definitions and simplifies the way categorization is expressed. When the program is initialized, it searches for the directory where the standard parts library is located, and automatically generates a classification tree to present to the user according to the parent-child relationship of the directory. From the directory structure, it is easy to find the required standard parts according to the classification. 2Standard parts The main dimensions and dimensions of the 3D model of the component to be fully constrained require a considerable number of parameters, such as size parameters, geometric constraints. Generally, a common component can reach more than ten parameters to achieve full participation, more than one hundred, and the rolling bearing model has more than twenty expressions.
