The RTM real-time monitoring system records and identifies each heat treatment zone of the workpiece in a continuous change. An optional feature is to archive data for traceability through the plant's information system or network connection. New concept of crankshaft quenching machine
EFD has developed a new type of crankshaft quenching machine (shown in Figure 2) whose design principle is based on a modular concept that can be machined to lengths ranging from 300 to 1500 mm. The purpose of modular design is twofold:
On the one hand, it can reduce the delivery time of the equipment, on the other hand, it can shorten the time required for installation and commissioning. In this way, the equipment can be easily transported from European manufacturing plants to the rest of the world.
The flexible design allows us to assemble a wide range of models with standard modules, such as single or double stations, rounded corners, manual or automatic loading and unloading (overhead robots or robots), integrated cleaning stations, etc. .
The modular design is ideal for designing according to the user's factory layout requirements.
The latest inductive technology
Induction heating is the core of EFD technology. Of course, the new device is combined with a new inductive power supply. EFD's new inductive power supply (shown in Figure 3) is more compact and robust, with a modular design and a constant power factor cos (phi) greater than 0.95. It also integrates new features such as external diagnostics and clear text messages.
When these new products were put on the market, EFD redesigned the complete power supply circuit of the crankshaft quenching machine, achieving the goal of reducing the matching box size by about 70%, making maintenance more convenient and greatly improving equipment utilization.
