Reasons for resin iron contamination

(1) The effect of iron in water and condensate. The iron content in water and condensate is shown in Table 3. Iron includes suspended iron and ionic iron. Most of the suspended iron in the first-stage desalinated water and condensate is removed in the anthracite quartz sand filter JF9201 and the cyanide cotton iron removal filter JF9208/07. However, since the raw water pretreatment uses FeCl3 as a coagulant, a small amount of squid is brought into the primary desalination system; in operation, part of the condensate is filtered through the cyanide cotton iron removal filter and bypassed directly into the resin bed. Especially when the fertilizer device is driven again after stopping, the total iron in the condensate reaches about 120 μg/L. At this time, if the condensate does not pass through the filtration and directly enters the resin bed, the contamination of the resin is very serious. The iron in the first-stage desalted water and condensate enters the exchanger and is adsorbed by the resin, and is firmly deposited in the interior and surface of the resin in the form of a high-valent iron compound, blocking the pores of the resin, thereby affecting the diffusion of the pores and causing iron. Pollution.
