Photovoltaic enterprises in China have settled in Zhangjiagang

While China’s PV companies frowned about how to survive this cold winter, Coveme AG, the leader in the global photovoltaic backplane industry, turned against the trend and on November 16 it invested 30 million Euros. Coveme Engineering Film (Zhangjiagang) Co., Ltd., which was incorporated in December last year, was officially opened. This is also the first European company to produce photovoltaic product accessories in China.

“The backplane is a very important part of photovoltaic products, and China is the gathering place for photovoltaic companies. The world’s largest photovoltaic companies are all in China. The opening of the Zhangjiagang factory is a milestone in the development of Coveme, which enables us to Good service to important customers in China and Asia.” At the opening ceremony of Coveme Engineering Film (Zhangjiagang) Co., Ltd., Coveme's Chairman Pier Luigi Miciano said.

Founded in 1965, Coveme is one of the world's leading manufacturers of engineered polyester film, and its products are widely used in biomedical, automotive, flexible cable and circuit boards, RFID technology, and photovoltaics. Currently, Coveme dyMat PYE series PV module backplanes occupy a leading position in the global PV market.

Coveme New Factory is located in Zhangjiagang Economic Development Zone. It covers an area of about 10,000 square meters. It is the largest plant of Coveme except in Italy. The production capacity of two production lines of dyMat PYE backboard is 4 million square meters per month. It is enough to supply 5GW of PV modules. "At present, we have reached a monthly production of 6 million square meters. With the further operation of the new plant, the total production capacity of Coveme dyMat PYE back sheet will reach 10 million square meters per month, enough to supply 13GW of photovoltaic modules." Pier Luigi Miciano Say.

Pier Luigi Miciano is not worried about the current market downturn in the photovoltaic industry. “Although the photovoltaic industry has ups and downs, but this is conducive to the deepening of the industry and integration. In addition to the United States and Europe, photovoltaic markets in some emerging countries are also developing, we expect that by 2014, China's PV module production capacity will account for 60% of the world.”

According to Pier Luigi Miciano, Coveme established contact with China's PV companies two years ago. “Now we want to further explore this market.” But Pier Luigi Miciano would not reveal the names of these Chinese companies. However, according to report, China's PV leading companies such as Suntech in Wuxi and Trina Solar in Changzhou are Coveme's customers. “Our 70% of our customers are in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai, so Coveme built the factory in Zhangjiagang,” said one of Covey’s top executives.

Heavy Density Silica Fume

Silica fume is a by-product recovered in the process of non-ferrous metal processing, its particles are very fine, the relative density is very small, which causes two phenomena in the specific application of the process: one is the relative density of a small weight, the delivery cost is very high; the second is in the application of the process, in view of silica fume has specificity, it is very easy to spill, easy to produce secondary environmental pollution. Silica fume encryption process is a very good solution to these two phenomena.
