Current tool usage of the company
Our company is mainly engaged in foreign trade subcontracting business. The customers have high requirements on the appearance and performance of the products. According to the characteristics of our company's product R&D and production, we require the accuracy guarantee of the products and the timely delivery of the “zero defect†qualification guarantee rate. Previously, the use of hand-milled white steel knives (HSS) to today's almost 80% of quick-change machines and knives has experienced many twists and turns. At present, our company's product types mainly include foreign trade quick-change joints, filters, valve groups and other products. The materials are cast aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel, free-cutting steel, etc. The quality requirements of the products are getting higher and higher. The corresponding “rigidity†of the tool is also higher, especially for the boring tool series. It is not easy to guarantee the inner cavity of the finished car, the processing thread, the inner groove, etc. The current tools are mainly imported, such as Sumitomo, Kyocera, Shante, Yujie, VTX, and the milling machine of Taiwan, Zhengheyuan, China. Zheng Drill, Zhuzhou Diamond, Hejian, Chengdu Fengyi, etc.
Problems with tool use
According to the actual characteristics of the company's products, there are three main problems:
(1) The company's quick joint products are mostly made of stainless steel. The main material grade is 0Cr17Ni4Cu4Nb. After rough machining, there is a heat treatment of H900. The hardness is about 40HRC. When machining internal threads or inner cavity, the threaded inserts are not particularly durable. "Let the knife", heavy knife again, the thread stop is sometimes over.
(2) When processing the external thread of cast aluminum A380 material, ordinary thread inserts such as AG60, Vargas, etc., the surface roughness of the thread is not easy to guarantee, and must be processed by diamond tool. However, once the diamond blade tip encounters impurities or pores, the knife is worn, and the cost of a diamond blade is about 200 yuan, and the cost is too high.
(3) When machining small-diameter threads such as M4, M3, and M2, the tap material and the workpiece material are insufficiently matched and flexible, and there are phenomena such as broken taps. In addition, there is a problem that the tap guiding portion is too long, and sometimes it is necessary to repair some of the shallow teeth to ensure the effective length of the thread, but the surface roughness is not good, and there are cases of rotten teeth.
Suggestions for tool suppliers
(1) The cost competitiveness of domestic and foreign tools is obviously inferior. For our company, for example, SIGER1210B-EH internal groove cutter bar, the domestic price is about 180 yuan, and the foreign price is about 850 yuan, which has a price advantage, but from the processing effect. In terms of the self-weight rigidity of the cutter body, the gap is large. It is not the phenomenon that the vibration knife is formed when the cutter is used. The cutter is not used very much, and the cutter is ground into a groove injury or the sawing Screw is broken, which greatly affects the processing effect and the supplier's reputation. It feels that domestic production is simple in plagiarizing imitation, but the effect is relatively far, from tool selection, structural design, heat treatment, etc. need to be improved;
(2) The professional ability of sales technicians needs to be strengthened. There are not many young people who are now doing tool sales. The familiarity of tools, processing guidance and rich practical operations are effective in the pre-sale and sale of tool sales. Sexuality has yet to be verified. Most of them are now based on the company's trials, allowing direct reporting of blade grades. The recommended schemes are few and the deep-level professional capabilities require self-charging.
