Under the condition of about 26 degrees Celsius, the dormancy period varies from about 1 month to more than 3 months depending on the variety. At temperatures between 0 and 4 degrees Celsius, the potato can remain dormant for long periods of time.
Baihe source gibberellin can promote the growth of stems and leaves of plants. Gibberellin also has a restrictive relationship with the dormancy period of potatoes. Immerse the block of potato with gibberellin for 10 to 15 minutes, the concentration of gibberellin with short dormancy is lower, and the concentration of gibberellin with longer dormancy is higher. Soak the seed potato after soaking, remove it and put it in the shade. Dry out, do not expose to the sun, then you can sow. Soaking the potato pieces with gibberellin can break the dormancy, promote the germination of the buds, make the emergence of the seedlings early, and also help the crops grow and increase the yield.
When using gibberellin, attention should be paid to controlling the concentration. If the concentration is too large, it may cause the plants to grow and whiten. At the same time, the spraying temperature should also be controlled in the weather above 23 °C, because the flower and fruit are not developed when the temperature is low, and gibberellin does not work.
