2017 China Special Protective Clothing Summit Forum held in Haimen, Jiangsu

The "2017 China Special Protective Clothing Summit Forum" sponsored by the China Textile Industry Association Safety and Health Protective Products Committee jointly with the School of Materials and Engineering of Donghua University and the School of Textiles and Clothing of Hunan Institute of Engineering, July 26, 2017 in Haimen, Jiangsu, China Grand Hotel.

At the opening of the summit forum, Lei Limin, Vice President of the China Textile Business Association, Secretary-General and Chairman of the Safety and Health Protection Products Committee, Wang Shujun, Deputy Mayor of the People's Government of Haimen City, and Zuo Chengqin, Executive Chairman of the Nantong Textile Industry Association delivered speeches. Warmly welcome and thank experts, entrepreneurs and representatives who participated in the forum activities!

In his speech, Chairman Lei Limin specifically pointed out: In order to further improve the level of R&D, production, and use of China's special protective clothing, and promote the development of China's national brand special protective clothing in China's protective product market, we have organized "2017 China jointly with related institutions. Special Protective Clothing Summit Forum." The theme of the forum is: Focus on new materials, new processes, and new technologies. Enhance the quality, brand and market of China's special protective clothing.

President Lei emphasized: We hold Special Protective Clothing Summit Forum to engage in the upstream and downstream enterprises of the special protective apparel industry chain, including special fabrics, garment manufacturing, testing equipment, and clothing accessories, through forums. Through the forum, it is hoped that companies can strengthen the cooperation of professional colleges and universities and establish cooperation relations among production, education and research. Further enhance and apply new processes, new technologies, and new materials. Through cooperation, we will dedicate new achievements to the industry and serve the society.

The 2017 China Special Protective Clothing Summit Forum was supported by the association's member companies and related companies. 48 companies from 11 provinces and municipalities across the country attended the event, totaling more than 80 people.

Twelve experts and entrepreneurs who gave speeches at this forum have conducted the following project speech exchanges:

Dr. Wang Zexing, Ph.D. and Associate Professor of School of Textiles and Clothing, Hunan Institute of Technology, spoke on "The Current Situation and Development Trend of China's Special Protective Clothing";

Secretary-General Chen Haida of the Secretary of the China Safety Association of the China Textile Business Association spoke on the "Status and Development Trends of China's Special Protective Clothing Market";

Mr. Jin Chaochao, the technical protection specialist of the Asia-Pacific region of DuPont China Group Co., Ltd., gave a lecture on "national and foreign flame test standards";

Xu Yuanyuan, a product engineer at Contex High-grade Fabrics (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., spoke on "The development trend of European protective clothing";

Prof. Zhu Meifang, Dean of School of Materials Science and Technology, Donghua University, gave a speech on "Organic/Inorganic Hybrid Materials and Safe Protective Textiles";

Professor Cai Sheng, director of the Department of Dyeing, School of Chemical Engineering, Donghua University, addressed "Functional Finishing and Protective Textiles";

The Director of National Special Labor Protection Products Quality Supervision and Inspection Center (Jiangsu) Lu Bing gave a speech on "Analyzing the Current Status of Anti-static Clothing and Flame-retardant Clothing Products Quality";

Liu Qixia, Laboratories for Safety and Protective Textiles of Jiangsu Province, Nantong University, gave a lecture on “Research and Development of Biochemical Protective Clothing”;

Yi Jin Co., Ltd. Chairman Ma Jinfang gave a speech on “Consideration on Functionality, Comfort and Fashion of Protective Clothing”;

Chen Yijian, general manager of Nantong City Baojian Special Protective Clothing Co., Ltd., spoke of "win-win, common media, and common development";

Zhang Yanmei, Director of R&D Center of Baoding Sanyuan Textile Science & Technology Co., Ltd., spoke on "Research and Development and Development of Protective Clothing";

Yan Xuefeng, a textile engineering laboratory for safety and protection of Jiangsu Province, Nantong University, introduced the “Research and Development of Protective Textiles in China to Establish a Safety and Protection Textile Engineering Laboratory”;

Entrepreneurs participating in this forum reflected that this forum was organized very well and the industry level was high. The lectures given by experts and professors were very much in line with the current status of the industry, and many new materials, new processes, and new technologies were known. The development of China's special protective clothing will certainly play a catalytic role.
