2 billion manganese investment agreement signed at the exhibition

On March 28th, at the 13th Metallurgy Metallurgy Exhibition, Chengkou County Government and Chongqing Yinying Mining Energy Investment Co., Ltd. signed an investment agreement of up to 2 billion yuan for the manganese/manganese new materials industry. The agreement includes the construction of basic manganese manganese production capacity and lithium manganese oxide, manganese aluminum alloy additives, permanent magnetic materials, high-purity germanium chloride and other parts of manganese germanium new materials.

It is understood that in accordance with the investment agreement, Yinying Mining Investment Corporation will build its own power plant, electrolytic manganese metal project and long-term metal magnesium sulphide project in Chengkou. Among them, the construction site for the coal-fired power plant in Chengkou Industrial Park has an installed capacity of 150,000 kilowatts, an annual coal consumption of 300,000 tons, an annual power generation of 1.2 billion kwh, an investment of 800 million yuan, and an annual cost savings of over 200 million yuan. Manganese production line annually processes 320,000 tons of manganese powder, and produces 60,000 tons of electrolytic manganese metal per year. At the same time, it also has the ability to promote the annual production of 100,000 tons of ferroalloy products with the existing silicon-manganese alloy companies. The total investment is 650 million yuan. Yuan; After perfecting and building the above projects, the company will also newly build a 100,000-ton metal magnesium plant and a 30,000-ton high-purity cesium chloride production line in Chengkou, with a total investment of 780 million yuan.

After the overall implementation of the project, the total output value will reach 1.7 billion yuan, and it is expected to realize local tax revenue of 280 million yuan and provide more than 3,400 jobs.
