In terms of clean energy, it is expected that by 2015, the installed capacity of conventional hydropower will reach 260 million kilowatts and 30 million kilowatts of pumped-storage power stations. Nuclear power installed capacity will reach about 40 million kilowatts. During the 12th Five-Year Plan period, a large-scale photovoltaic power station will be constructed. By 2015, the installed capacity of solar photovoltaic power generation may reach 10 million kilowatts.
Experts from the China Energy Research Institute pointed out that at present, there are regional and time-consuming process gaps in China's electricity supply, and the main reason for the unfavorable coal price mechanism is that the profits of power companies fluctuate greatly and the pricing mechanism needs to be adjusted. To this end, it is recommended to strengthen the supervision of the coal market in the future, establish a restraint mechanism for thermal coal prices, improve and implement coal and electricity linkage policies, encourage the integration of coal and electricity companies, cancel the planned electricity distribution mechanism, and accelerate the direct purchase of electricity by large consumers. .
