Common pump failure analysis and treatment methods Different types of pumps, the failure of the performance of different forms, but summed up, has the following common features. (2) Excessive power consumption Cause: The pump speed is too high; the pump spindle bending or pump spindle and motor spindle is not concentric or not parallel; selection of pump head is not appropriate; pump inhalation of sediment or plug; motor ball bearings damaged . Treatment: Check the circuit voltage, reduce the pump speed; Correction of the pump spindle or adjust the relative position of the pump and the motor; Use the appropriate lift pump; Clean up the sediment or plug; Replace the motor ball bearings. (3) The pump vibrates violently or causes noise: The pump is not installed firmly or the pump is installed too high. The motor ball bearing is damaged. The pump spindle is bent or not concentric with the motor's spindle, not parallel. Treatment: install a steady pump or reduce the installation height of the pump; replace the motor ball bearings; correct the bending of the pump shaft or adjust the relative position of the pump and the motor. (4) Drive shaft or motor bearing overheating causes: the lack of oil or bearing rupture. Approach: add oil or replace the bearing. (5) The pump does not produce water causes: the pump body and suction pipe did not fill the diversion; moving water level lower than the pump drainage pipe; suction pipe rupture. Approach: Exclude the end of the valve failure, filled with diversion; reduce the installation of the pump, so that the filter under the water level, or wait for water level rise filter, water pipe and then pumping; repair or replace the suction pipe.
