Historical and cultural protection block

Beichizi Street is on the east side of the Forbidden City and is a north-south long street near the Zizi River. It is 921 meters long and 21 meters wide. The street is from Donghuamen Street in the south and Wusi Street in the north. When Qing Emperor Qianlong was called Bei Changjie, Guangxu said that after the Guanglu Temple, after the Donghuamenwai North Longjie, commonly known as Beichizi, it was called Beichizi when Xuantong was called. It was called Beichizi Street after 1949. It is connected to Wenxiang Street, Beichizi headlines, Ershi, Sanzhi, Qihehelou Street and Caohe Hutong. The former military preparation hospital and the former Russian cultural museum are here. There are Qing Xuan Ren Temple and Ning He Temple in this street, which are city-level cultural relics protection units. Beichizi Street is now one of the 25 historical and cultural protected blocks in Beijing, the traditional residence form, and an important part of the traditional style of the old imperial city.
